While trying to come up with a name for my business, I kept coming back to the idea of “one shouldn’t take oneself too seriously”. This, of course, is at the risk of offending some of the folks in this crazy business or not sounding like a serious business owner.

Shama Lama Moho. Say it.

One thing I am very serious about is providing Detroit’s only purpose-built, true, production motorhome. Built for Detroit’s production crews. Built with user functionablity in mind. Built as a “tool” to put in your production arsenal.

Shama Lama Moho. Say it.

While other recreational vehicles are being used as production motorhomes, they are literally someone’s personal-use motorhome. They could have been on “holiday” in it just yesterday. You won’t find a bed, a kitchen, or someone’s personal stuff in it. What you will find are clean, useable workstations, dedicated wardrobe racks, a makeup mirror, and a flexible workspace.

Shama Lama Moho. Say it.

So, against the advice of my marketing team, I don’t post details of shoots on Facebook. You won’t find Tweets about what job I’m on. You won’t find pictures of celebrities who used my Moho on Instagram. I won’t even list my clients on this website. If you want photos of celebs posing with the owner, go visit Mario’s on 2nd Ave … the food is delicious. I suppose it is tough to advertise with no info to share, but I think the product speaks for itself.

So, say it. Shama Lama Moho.

Just don’t say it too loud. I don’t want too many people to know about this.

What's up with the name?
